  Sleek & Sexy Solara - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  This is my first Toyota, and I DO love it! I must say, it wasnt my first choice, but after driving it, and really looking at it, I fell in love. (And it does resemble a Lexus.) I too, get constant looks and remarks from strangers about "what a sharp looking car that is!" Its awesome on gas, I feel safe, and its reliable. (Im a sales rep, so this is all SOOO important.) Only complaints I have are similar to others-not so quick when accelerating, rain drips off doors when you open them, car is long in front so its difficult to judge distance parking etc, and I have a major problem with glare off dash onto windshield when driving in sun. Other than that, Im addicted!! (Want the convert!)

  Nice Car - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  I really like this car. It looks really nice from the outside and looks good on the inside. The fuel economy is nice. It turns eyes. It is very reliable. The only thing I am not cray about is that it feels like you are driving a bus sometimes. They should have tightened up the steering. It really drives like a grandpa lexus and I knew that going into it. I had an audi before this and nothing compares to the audis AWD, however the solara does pretty well in the snow. Overall, very solid car that looks really good.

  This is a beautiful sporty vehicle that handles like a pricy sports car. Way fun to drive... turns heads. Roomy and very quiet.

  An outstanding overall vehicle. Superb ride, comfort and performance. Luxurious yet sporty. Room for 4 adults, luggage and golf bags. Convertible top operates flawlessly and is quiet when up. Put it down and its hot fun in the summertime.

  Perfect in Every Way - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  I recently bought my 05 SLE convertible and it is the best car Ive ever driven. I needed a convertible with a fairly large trunk that was reliable. I looked at Saabs, Hondas, etc., and the Solara performed miles better than the rest. The trunk is HUGE! I shopped at Sams Club this weekend and everything fit neatly in the trunk. So, I put the top down and cruised happily home. Love it!

  Toyota knows how to build a fun-to- drive 4 cylinder car. Not only that, but this one looks hot, and rides smooth as well. After determining that an Infiniti G35 was a little out of the price bracket this year, I decided to trade in my wonderfully reliable, but well-worn Ford Escort for something more...stylish and grown-up. The engine compression is fantastic, even at lower RPMs, so I dont miss the control of the manual transmission. The seats are extremely comfortable, and the power adjustments on the drivers seat are worth every penny. But dont take my word for it!

  we have absolutely enjoyed this car and even had it customized to make it more of a guys car with 18" black chrome wheels, blacked out grill and custom headlights and tail lights.... well worth the money to make the car more california street cool. only negative is the obstruction of rear view due to backseat headrests made standard in 05 for rollover safety.

  2005 Solara V6 Coupe - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  I have had absolutely no issues with my Solara at all. There are no rattles regarding interior components or moldings, the fit of both interior and exterior panels are perfect. I can drive it conservatively and get 27 to 28 miles to the gallon with 91 octane fuel. Even if I decide to push it a bit harder, I can still get 25 to 26 miles per gallon. I have gotten many positive comments regarding the exterior styling of the vehicle. I had this Solara built so have all of the sporty upgrades but none of the fluffy upgrades (I didnt need a mirror that told me which direction I was going). The tuning upgrades have not affected the comfort of the ride as far as I can tell. I researched vehicles for 1 year before I bought, looking at Volvos, Mustangs, Hondas, everything that compared. This vehicle is the best hands down. I love this car!!
